Sports Brand Identity
Lincoln Mavericks Hockey Club is a Tier II Junior A hockey team that will debut in the upcoming 2016 season. The hockey club gave me the task of designing a brand identity that captures their spirit and excitement yet maintains the sophistication of a classic sports team. The resulting logo embodies power, speed and movement and sets the mood for the team as a force to be reckoned with.
“Colin is most certainly an expert at his craft. He develops a conscientious and thoughtful relationship with the customer and works hard to develop strong options for them to consider in a time sensitive manner. I am very pleased with his work and most certainly will be doing business with him in the future.” – Jeff Tallman, Owner, Lincoln Mavericks Hockey Club

Pharmaviva Pharmacy approached me to develop a new stand-out brand that focuses on the Thorold-based company’s extraordinary reputation of great customer service and approachability.
The new design reflects the pharmacy’s values and better suits them with a cohesive marketing approach. The rebrand includes a new illuminated sign, perforated window vinyl and interior wall graphics.
Friends of the Port Colborne Lighthouses is a group of dedicated individuals founded as part of a lighthouse revitalization project that is currently underway in Port Colborne, Ontario.
The new visual identity was designed with a nautical theme in mind and replicates the stoic presence of both lighthouses. The two-mark system is a great approach for marketing and promotional materials.
“While collaborating with Colin, it was evident that he is knowledgeable and passionate about his work. He took into consideration our ideas and as a result, not only designed a unique logo that has brought recognition to our organization from outside the region, but also compliments from the community. It was a pleasure working with Colin and I would highly recommend him for any graphic design needs.” — Cheryl Fortin, Founding Member, Friends of the Port Colborne Lighthouses
